Overview of Christianity
Spiritual Maturity
Well, production is basically how you live your life, how you think, your habits, your beliefs, your pattern of day to day living.
There are a lot of folks out there in the world who can talk the talk, have all the right words to say, are full of thee's and thou's and amen's and praise the lord's, but they really do not live by those words. The words are meant only for appearances and do not represent a commitment to a spiritual pattern of life.
So, you can read the entire bible, memorize the entire bible, even quote the entire bible, but if you have not adopted its principles into your daily life, then it is all for naught.
Adopting biblical principles into your life is not the same as pretending or being sincere, or meaning well.
Biblical principles must be learned, and learned through the teaching of the scriptures, and learned by means of a daily study process while in fellowship, for every day of your entire life, or at least the remainder of whatever life you have left in you.
The study of bible doctrine is the process by which you build a spiritual structure within your soul.
The daily use of that doctrine, is the process by which you are productive, and thus finish off or fill up that structure.
In the reality of life, you were born into this world physically and mentally, but not spiritually.
You began your life with a body and a soul.
Your body is physical and houses biological life.
Your soul is immaterial, created by God, and houses human life, also created by God.
When you believe in Christ, then God creates a third aspect or vessel or container of your life, which is the human spirit, and into that is placed eternal life.
So, as an unbeliever you are body and soul, with the respective lives imputed into each (biological life and human life).
As a believer you are body, soul, and spirit, with the respective three lives imputed into each of those containers - biological life, human life, and eternal life.
But there is one more component housed in your physical body, which is the sin nature.
Your sin nature is the weakness aspect of your life and when unchecked will influence your soul, which in turn influences your thoughts and actions of life. The sin nature exists in everyone with three exceptions.
Adam was created without a sin nature. Eve was made without a sin nature. Jesus Christ was born without a sin nature. Both Adam and Eve committed sins and thus acquired the sin nature through their sin. Jesus Christ never sinned and thus never had a sin nature. He lived a perfect life.
